Established in 2015, CareerWave is a leading career guidance company, working with schools, sixth forms, colleges, independent training providers and individuals. We are highly recommended by those we work with, enjoying long lasting and productive partnerships as a result.
CareerWave holds The matrix Standard, achieving this quality award in November 2025.
We also uphold the values of the career guidance profession. Our team are all members of The Career Development Institute (the CDI) and hold the title of Registered Career Development Professional (RCDP).
Our biggest selling point is our large workforce of Career Advisers. This means that we are responsive to need throughout the year. For example, when a school loses their Career Adviser, we are very confident that we can provide the solution.
1:1 Personal Guidance is our main area of work, however we also offer the following services:
- Quality in Careers Standard– as a licensed awarding body we work with schools, sixth forms, colleges and independent training providers to achieve this national quality standard. We also hold a licence to quality assure primary schools’ careers education via the National Endorsement award.
- Primary Schools– led by our primary education specialists we provide career-related learning and activities to primary and middle schools.
- SEND Approach– to ensure that SEND students have their voices heard and their needs addressed, we have developed a unique approach combining small group work, personal guidance and staff CPD.
- Training Centre– we offer accredited career guidance learning at Level 3, 4 and 6, and non-accredited bespoke training for key staff in schools, sixth forms, colleges and independent training providers.
- Professional Support– for our non-CareerWave colleagues working as freelancers or Career Advisers employed by schools, colleges, sixth forms or independent training providers, we can quality assure and develop their skills
